EPIC Family CIC is an exciting not-for-profit fostering service start-up, founded in 2024 to provide a supportive, positive environment for children and young people. Drawing on the founder’s experience as a foster carer, the organisation set out to create a service that prioritises care, empathy, and guidance for both children and carers.
Creating an identity that resonates with
all stakeholders
We worked with EPIC Family CIC to develop a distinctive visual identity and brand toolkit, including logotype, colour palette, typography, and a unique illustration style. The resulting visual language conveys warmth, trust, and approachability, helping the organisation connect with families, carers, and partner agencies. While foster agency brands often play it safe, every element of this identity is distinctive, contemporary, and welcoming - reflecting the supportive nature of EPIC Family CIC’s services and the safe, nurturing environment they provide.

A flexible identity toolkit
The new identity was rolled out across key touchpoints, including the website, social media channels, printed materials, and outreach campaigns, ensuring a consistent and recognisable presence. The toolkit gives the team the flexibility to communicate clearly with carers, local authorities, and young people, while maintaining a cohesive and professional look and feel.
Delivering a tangible impact
Since launch, the brand has already enabled EPIC Family CIC to hit the ground running. Within the first six months, the organisation has successfully matched countless children with caring foster families. The brand provides a strong foundation for EPIC to deliver tangible impact, building trust and engagement while helping transform the fostering landscape.
