Dartmoor National Park

Dartmoor Dynamic Landscapes is a major new programme created by the Dartmoor National Park Authority in partnership with a wide range of organisations, with the aim of restoring habitats, protecting heritage, and connecting communities across the moor.

Celebrating Dartmoor's diversity

Backed by over £3.1 million from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the initiative encompasses diverse projects, including peatland restoration, river monitoring, cultural festivals, and the creation of gateway hubs in Okehampton, Ivybridge, and Princetown.

We were invited to develop a brand identity that could unify all these strands under a single, engaging umbrella. Through a collaborative naming session, the concept of Dartmoor as a living, ever-changing landscape emerged, inspiring the name Dartmoor Dynamic Landscapes.

"Just Enough Brave captured the essence of Dartmoor’s diverse landscapes and communities perfectly. Their passion for the moor shone through, and their creativity has given us a unifying identity that’s engaged communities and helped secure further funding."

Building a versatile brand toolkit

With the name confirmed, we designed a bold visual identity built around flowing, organic forms inspired by the rivers and plants of the moor. The earthy yet fresh colour palette draws directly from Dartmoor’s rivers, moorland, and granite.

The visual language was applied across all communications, whether festival promotion, signage, or digital assets -  providing partners with a consistent toolkit to reach audiences with a cohesive and engaging look and feel.

Work in progress...

Since launch, the identity has helped raise the programme’s profile and gain traction. It has given Dartmoor Dynamic Landscapes a unifying presence, driving awareness, participation, and lasting impact for one of the region’s most ambitious conservation projects. The results have been so significant that Dartmoor National Park Authority has secured an additional round of funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
