The recently established Plymouth Studio School specialises in sport, leisure and tourism, plus hospitality event management. In September 2015 they opened their doors, offering an exciting new way to learn which combines academic and professional qualifications with industry-based projects and placements. The management team approached Dave and his team, whilst at Fuel Communications to bring this innovative school to life with an identity and visual language.
Within a tight timeframe Dave and his team excelled in creating an exciting identity for the school. Their project input throughout was first class and they played an important part in the success of the school's first intake

Working from the team’s comprehensive brief we created a focused positioning, robust identity and visual language that partnered a colourful geometric graphic assets with contemporary fonts and engaging photography. Dave and the creative team then applied the identity to a range of brand touch-points such as responsive website, brochures, uniforms and the school's building signage.
Plymouth Studio School easily attracted the required number of pupils for the 2015 intake and has been an attractive proposition to pupils. A number of high-profile athletes and coaches have joined the school’s teaching staff. These include, top coaches and games medallists Katherine Endacott, Antony James and Jon Rhodes
