The Challenge

Next Generation Nursing and Care are a recruitment agency specialising within the care sector. The business was formed in 2003 when the owners identified the need for a more compassionate recruitment offer. That focus has borne fruit with a loyal team that between them have over 25 years of combined experience. That experience has meant that they have built up their reputation as a business that consistently delivers an unparalleled level of care excellence. Combine this with their commitment to their community of carers and patients and you have a very special business indeed. And so Next Generation came to us because after 14 years of successful trading as they realised that they needed to grow their brand awareness by articulating their vision and purpose more clearly. At the same time, we were also tasked with re-inventing their dated their brand identity.

The Just Enough Brave team led the workshop expertly and instantly engaged the whole team. The subsequent results along with the creative work produced have set us on a focussed route for all our marketing communications. We are over the moon with the results!

The Solution

Firstly we interviewed carers and clients to gather a 'world-view' of Next Generation as a brand. This collected some fascinating insights and played a big part in informing the direction of the soon to follow workshop. The workshop itself proved extremely productive and we were very quickly able to define a clear vision, purpose and set of values for the business. The results of the workshop can be found coursing through the brand identity and content.

The next stage was to develop an identity and visual language that truly communicated the compassionate nature of the Next Generation offer. Both the 'double heart' logomark and the use of illustration (rather than photography) ensures that the brand feels truly inclusive and unique in its sector. We then applied the identity to a full range of touchpoints from both exhibition design through to the website.

The Results

The new identity has injected the marketing team with a renewed energy to promote themselves and as such Next Generation has already entered and gone on to win the Bronze Award for Employer of the Year in the Outstanding Care Awards. Congratulations to everyone at Next Generation Nursing and Care.
