The Challenge

DK Recruitment is an ambitious start-up born from the synergy of it’s two recruiting heavyweights – Kim Lewis and Dave Freeman. Their commitment to over-deliver on their brief was the key driver behind the formation of their business. The challenge then, to clearly position DK Recruitment as a premium brand in a cluttered marketplace through both design and messaging.

Just Enough Brave took time to understand my vision and how best to translate this into our brand and online presence. Working with them was a great experience and a lot of fun! It was heartwarming to work with a group of people who were as passionate about my business as I am.

The Solution

In the first instance, we carried out a comprehensive brand workshop helped offer clarity on their key differentiators. With both businesses and candidates key stakeholders for the brand we uncovered both audiences common purpose. The succinct but inclusive - TAKE CHARGE OF CHANGE tagline perfectly distils their role as a catalyst for success. After this exercise was completed we turned our attention to the identity and visual language. To illustrate their premium offer we created a simple and elegant mark, bespoke typography and a sophisticated colour palette and iconography to help bring this innovative brand to life.
Once we moved onto their new website it was important that the same level of refinement translated into the digital arena. The new site and messaging offer a comprehensive overview of the brand as well as practical job search and application functionality. As with all our sites, it is designed and developed responsively to react to any device users view it in. The CMS is intuitive and easily updatable as the business evolves.

The Result

DK Recruitment has certainly got off to a flying start with their first years turnover exceeding their ambitious targets. Exploiting their rich network has seen them begin working with more than a handful of blue-chip brands. We are proud to have played our part in their success story so far and congratulate them warmly!
