The Challenge

Ladies’ Day at Ascot has long been a showcase for the artistry of the milliner, and each year, the hats are worn provoke almost as much excitement as the races their wearers are there to watch. These fantastic creations are created by a crop of exciting designers and makers and Plymouth based start-up Samantha Patrick Millinery joins their midst with a contemporary opening collection. Our challenge then? To bring the craftsmanship, style and flair of this design house to life.


The Solution

Working closely with the client we created a flamboyant and sophisticated logotype. An elegant monogram supports the logotype and the brand toolkit partners lavish typography with a restrained colour palette that is punctuated by bursts of colour.

The Result

With a concerted engagement effort from the marketing team, the brand has seen its work reviewed widely and develop a devoted following on social media. Commissions are flying in the door thick and fast so we're sure this exciting brand is well on the road to steady growth.
